Learn Something Every Day

Each and every day, we strive to be a Beacon of Excellence in all aspects of our school and community. Excellence in Faith, in Education, and in Family are infused in everything we teach and experience at Our Lady’s School.

Hank Douglas
Principal

Our Lady’s School is proud to introduce our principal, Hank Douglas. Mr. Douglas first joined Our Lady’s School for the 2020/2021 school year and is already leaving a lasting impact on our school. We will all remember 2020/2021 as a tough year for our school, with challenges from pandemic precautions to Hurricane Laura aftermath. Despite these hurdles, Mr. Douglas was able to bring our students back home to Our Lady’s School in a short amount of time post-hurricane and has provided an uplifting start to our students’ days.

Mr. Douglas earned his M.Ed from McNeese State University and previously taught at W.W. Lewis Middle School. Before transitioning to education, Mr. Douglas led the Sulphur and Lake Charles Raising Cane’s restaurants for over a decade. Mr. Douglas is committed to ensuring our school remains a Beacon of Excellence for our students and community.

Mr. Douglas and his wife, Crystal, and two children, Elizabeth and Alexander, belong to Our Lady’s of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.
