Welcome Back to OLS!

As we begin our school year at OLS I would like to take a moment to thank the many families that have been so welcoming and supportive as I grow accustom to my new surroundings.It feels refreshing to be back in Catholic education and I feel blessed to be part of the OLS community.As we enter our 54^th year at OLS, I am happy to say that our enrollment is growing.We have an extremely dedicated faculty and staff who have been hard a work preparing for the school year, and we have had a very smooth start.We have a few minor changes to our school day, the dress code and our daily procedures that will produce positive results as we move forward.

As members of our faith community I ask that you support our mission, and I ask you to keep us in your prayers as we minister to our students and families.In talking with parents, church leaders and school personnel over the past few months it is clear that families are seeking a school environment that reinforces goodness, discipline and knowledge modeled after the teachings of our Lord and savior.I ask you to help us to reinforce these values at home and in the community so that we can foster a nurturing and supportive environment that will meet the educational goals of all our children.This is a process that can only be successful with your help!

In closing, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for allowing us to serve you and your children.We believe there is no greater gift that you can provide for your child than a catholic education.If you are not a current member of the OLS family, I invite you and your family to come to the school and see what we have to offer.My prayer is that all of our families have a safe and successful school year.
